NEW INFORMATION!

Since we have been away from the Church for over two months now, you may want to know how to get your Church and/or Sunday School offering or any other donation to Fletcher’s Chapel now rather than waiting until you return. You may send a check to Fletcher’s Chapel UMC at 8330 Fletcher’s Chapel Road, King George, VA 22485 (PLEASE NEVER MAIL CASH). If you would rather not mail it or if you wish to deliver cash, you may drop it off in an envelope at the Parsonage (please do not leave it in the mailbox as that is NOT a secure way to leave it). You can put on the envelope who it’s from and what the money is for (i.e. Offering or a Special Fund etc.).

Sermon for May 17, 2020!

Good morning! Even though we may have a rainy day outside, we can have a beautiful day in our hearts! God has blessed us with another day to rejoice in! Enjoy all of the days that God gives us. Praise our Lord and pray for all in these times of stress, as well as for those who are sick and those who have lost others to illness. Please pray for not only our local areas and those we know but for our country, and yes, even our world. And as our counties and cities reopen, don’t forget who helped us through to the other side! Thank you Lord for all you have done for us in the past and all you will do in the future. Help us to know and do that which you want us to do. Give us the strength, the knowledge and the wisdom to do it right. Amen!

Update on Church closing!

As of right now, Fletcher’s Chapel Church will continue its closure, including Worship Services and all meetings/gatherings requiring more than 10 people and/or where social distancing cannot be done, through June 10th. This is as per a letter from the Bishop to the Ministers who states that it is in cooperation with the Governor’s executive orders. If anything should change, due to updates by the Governor and/or the Bishop, we will post the change as soon as we know.
