Sermon for June 27, 2021!

Welcome to a brand new week! Please be careful as it is supposed to be a very hot week! Remember to stay inside where there is air condition available as much as possible. And please drink plenty of water especially when outside – we don’t want to lose anyone to heat exhaustion or stoke! Please look out for your neighbors as well. And now, here is the sermon from yesterday – sorry it’s a little late being posted:

Re: Sermon for Sunday, June 27th!

The sermon for Sunday, June 27th will be posted later today, Sunday, or sometime on Monday the 28th. Sorry for the inconvenience but it we will get it up as soon as possible but schedules have created a problem this week.

Sermon for June 20, 2021!

Happy Father’s Day to all of the fathers out there! I hope you all have a great day! Even though the day is supposed to be hot and humid remember to count your blessings because we all woke up this morning to a new day. Tomorrow is never promised so remember to show your love to all of your family, friends and neighbors every day. May God bless you all! Now here is the sermon for today…

Sermon for June 13, 2021!

Good morning everyone! I hope this day finds you well and expecting a wonderful week ahead! Don’t forget next Sunday, June 20th, is Father’s Day! As for today we would like to thank Lori Radolinski for delivering the sermon this morning for Pastor Barry during his absence. Please remember all of those who may be sick, injured or shut in at this time in your prayers! Now here is the link to the sermon:

Sorry for the late notice, the day crept up on me!

Don’t forget tomorrow, June 13th, is the day for our monthly Food Drive and Loose Change Collection to be held (more information on each of those below).

Since we have started back to In Church Worship, we will collect the Canned Food and the Loose Change Collection during church as was done before COVID!

However, if you aren’t comfortable attending services yet but would still like to drop off food and/or loose change you may do so right before or right after the service on Sunday. Service starts at 9:00am and lasts about 40 to 45 min.

This month is another opportunity for us to safely get involved in a Food Drive and at this time we will also collect for our Loose Change Offering for the Heifer Project (paper money is accepted as well).

Canned Food Offering: This food will be sent to the King George Social Services Food Bank.  King George County residents who need assistance may receive a two- or three-day emergency supply of food once a month with proof of residency.

The Loose Change Offering: These gifts will go to Heifer International whose mission is to work with communities to end hunger and poverty and care for the earth.  By giving families a hand-up, not just a hand-out, the Heifer Project empowers them to turn lives of hunger and poverty into self-reliance and hope. With gifts of livestock and training, Heifer Projects help families improve their nutrition and generate income in sustainable ways.

Please prayerfully consider what you can do; the need is great, and the resources are not. Be blessed.

Pastor Barry
